1. Test the environment

DisinfectWell provides broad and comprehensive testing for hospitals and clinics. We test before we disinfect, and our process includes ATP Rapid On-site Testing and MicroID Environmental Testing.

MicroID Testing

MicroID Testing is our initial procedure in healthcare facilities administered at least once a year in clinical settings and quarterly in hospitals. This process begins with our technicians collecting air and surface samples. Once samples are collected, the technicians will submit them to a certified lab partner for environmental analysis approved and released by a DisinfectWell microbiologist.

MicroID Environmental Tests establish a microbial baseline by identifying what exists in the tested area by detecting specific enzymes and metabolic end products produced by certain microorganisms.

MicroID Rule-out Testing is specifically administered to rule out a particular bacteria, virus, fungi, or mold in that environment. We recommend this test in two scenarios, High contamination and Decontamination. The first is a proactive measure to mitigate microbial risk, where the second is a secondary validation after a decontamination event.

ATP Testing

ATP Rapid On-site Testing is central to our service program’s efficacy loop. Ensuring patients and medical staff safety takes seconds for us to complete.
Our technicians will test for actively growing microorganisms on surfaces by swabbing various locations in your environment through this fast testing technology. After collecting samples, the ATP Testing device will provide a quick assessment of the tested environment’s microbial concentration.
Testing before disinfection gives DisinfectWell technicians an accurate assessment of your healthcare environment. After disinfection, they test again to verify that the environment is safe.

2. Disinfecting and Protecting

We bring safe and effective solutions to protect people in hospitals and clinics.

Our specialized disinfection services help reduce the spread of infections by killing pathogens like bacteria and viruses, including SARS-COV-2, the Coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Our disinfectant protocol is formulated on the initial ATP and MicroID test results.  

Our technicians will use electrostatic equipment to deploy a safe, non-toxic antimicrobial solution to surfaces. After disinfecting and verifying that the environment has reached a safe level of microbial contamination, our technicians will then apply a non-toxic antimicrobial biostatic protectant that will guard against recontamination for up to 90 days.
